Who Knew I Like History - (my wife did)

A friend of mine lent me a book about the 12 day chase of John Wilkes Booth. So a few chapters into the book I realized that I like history. While I am reading some other books right now, I figure I would do a book review of Manhunt: The 12-Day Chase for Lincoln's Killer by James L. Swanson.

This book not only goes into great length about the chase of Lincoln’s killer, it gives the reader insight of other key people during this time frame. Mr. Swanson has done some amazing research into Lincoln, Booth and the rest of the key people.

If I had read this in history class, I would have a whole new approach to learning history. Do not miss out on one of the most well written books on Lincoln’s killer. This book has launched me in reading other books about history.
